The Service is currently in Google Play closed testing and available only to invited tour leaders. It is free during testing, and the paid plans will be announced before they start. These terms will change as the Service develops.
1. The Service
"Tour Leader Assistant" (the "Service") is a management tool for tour leaders while leading groups. It helps record and confirm daily itineraries, expense receipts, traveler lists, room assignments and daily reports, and offers helpers such as GPS proximity reminders and flight status notifications. It is built and maintained by an individual developer, not a company or organization.
2. AI and automated features are for reference only
The Service uses AI to parse receipts, itineraries, rosters and other documents, and uses third-party services to look up place coordinates, flights and exchange rates. This automatically produced or looked-up content is for reference only; it may be wrong, outdated or incomplete, and must be confirmed by the tour leader before it becomes an official record. The Service makes no guarantee of its accuracy, timeliness or completeness. You are responsible for the content of any report you export after confirming it.
3. GPS and flight reminders are only an aid
GPS proximity reminders and flight notifications only prompt you to pay attention. They do not prove that an itinerary item was done or that flight information is correct. Whether something is done, and whether to react, is always the tour leader's own decision and manual confirmation.
4. Availability and backups
We try to keep the Service stable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Please export and back up important data (such as expense records) yourself and do not treat the Service as your only copy. The developer may change, suspend or end the Service at any time.
5. Plans and pricing
This section takes effect when paid plans are switched on; until then all features are provided under the testing rules.
- Free plan: trips of 1–6 days; AI features require agreeing to "Help improve AI recognition", with up to 10 AI recognitions per day (shared by all AI features).
- Single-trip pass: a one-time purchase that covers one trip only (it is not a number of days; two trips need two passes), in four tiers by trip length: 1–10, 11–15, 16–20 and 21–30 days. A trip can be at most 30 days. For a trip covered by a pass, AI can be used from 10 days before departure until 3 days after the trip ends: up to 25 times per day during the pre-trip preparation period, and up to 300 times per day from the departure day.
- Monthly multi-trip plan: an auto-renewing subscription; during the subscription you can create several trips one after another (still one trip at a time), with AI up to 300 times per day.
- Fair use: to keep things fair, AI recognition is limited to 300 times per day; once reached, AI is unavailable for the rest of the day and resets the next day.
- Redeem codes and feedback passes: the developer may issue redeem codes or feedback passes; terms and validity are as stated when issued. They may not be resold.
- Prices: as shown by Google Play in your local currency; payment is handled by Google Play.
6. Using, deleting and refunding passes
- A pass starts to be used when applied to a trip. If the trip is deleted or recreated, you need to buy a new pass; a pass that has been used is not refunded.
- Three days after the trip ends you return to the free plan automatically; passes do not renew automatically.
- While a monthly subscription is active, the trip is covered by the subscription; any single-trip pass you also hold is not used until the subscription ends. If a pass has not yet been relied on for AI during the subscription, the system returns it to your pass inventory so it can be applied later.
- Refunds: purchases, subscriptions and refunds follow Google Play's refund rules. Once a refund is approved, the matching pass or monthly plan is revoked and stops working immediately.
- Monthly subscription: renews and charges automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Google Play "Subscriptions" or with the "Manage subscription" button on the app's "Plans & passes" page; after cancelling it stays active until the end of the paid period and is not charged again. Deleting your data does not cancel the subscription.
7. Account and your responsibilities
You need a Google account to use the Service; please keep it secure. You are responsible for the truth, accuracy and legality of everything you enter (itineraries, expenses, traveler lists, etc.) and must comply with applicable laws (such as personal data protection laws) and your travelers' privacy. You must not abuse the Service (for example calling AI in bulk by automation, bypassing usage limits, or reselling passes); the developer may restrict or end your use if you do.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from using or being unable to use the Service; liability for amounts you paid is limited to the amount you actually paid for that purchase.
9. Changes to the terms
The developer may change these terms and will update the "Last updated" date; significant changes (especially pricing rules) will be announced in the app or on this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the changed terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
